Octavian, the French-born London-based rapper who recently emerged with his melodic rap hit Party Here (released in December 2017), is being tipped for success in 2018.

Formerly homeless, having spent the best part of six years without a fixed address, Octavian claims he is ‘not really from anywhere’ and his nomadic lifestyle is reflected in his genre-fluidity, with which he blends trap, house and hip-hop, and draws influences from grime and its pioneers. The 21 year old recently completed a community arts course at The BRIT School – which boasts the likes of Adele and Jessie J among its alumni – and has since performed at London’s KOKO, released his Essie World mixtape and counts Grammy-winning rapper/singer Drake and Off-White designer Virgil Abloh among fans. Octavian also released the video for his latest track 100 Degrees on January 26 and is working on an EP to be released in spring.
